The San Diego Chargers announced today they still have to sell about 11,000 tickets by Thursday to avoid a local television blackout of Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons at Qualcomm Stadium.
All but the most expensive club level seats at Qualcomm Stadium need to be sold by 1:05 p.m. Thursday or the telecast will be blacked out.
The Chargers needed a 24-hour extension of the deadline last week to sell out the final 2,100 tickets to Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans and have the blackout lifted.
