San Diego: Dead body pulled from surf in Oceanside

An investigation was under way today in Oceanside, where the body of a fully clothed man was pulled from the surf.

The body was discovered off the 100 block of Tyson Street around 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, according to a North County Fire Protection District dispatcher.

Three Marines driving along the beach noticed the man in the surf, pulled him from the water and called 911, KGTV 10News reported.
