Three arrested in connection with Wildomar homicide

Two adults and one juvenile have been arrested in connection with a homicide in Wildomar, it was reported today.

According to a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department report, Wildomar police officers responded to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon at 6:34 p.m. on Sept. 18 in the 20000 block of Mariposa Rd. in Wildomar.

“Officers arrived on scene within minutes and located a male in the street suffering from a wound to the head. This individual was later identified as Anthony Garcia. Officers entered an abandoned residence and located another male deceased inside,” according to the report.

Detectives from the Wildomar Police Department and investigators from the Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit assumed the investigation.

Wildomar residents Summer Stephens, 37, Anthony Garcia, 32, and a 13-year-old juvenile were arrested for their participation in the homicide, officials said.

The name of the deceased male has been withheld pending notification of next of kin.
