A woman skydiver was critically injured and helicoptered to a hospital from Perris Valley Skydiving today, a spokeswoman with the Riverside County Fire Department said.

The woman was unconscious but had stable life signs when she was being flown out to a hospital for treatment, said spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson.
Firefighters answered a 12:19 p.m. call of a skydiver down and went to the facility at 2091 Goetz Road, Hendrickson said.

There have been a lot of accident cases that happened during skydiving activities. I wonder what could have caused the accident? And with all of this, will the Government still consider skydiving a safe activity?
