Pechanga Resort & Casino is planning a slammin’ series of events at Silk throughout the month of October, it was recently announced.

Upcoming festivities include:
“Because We Love You Weekend” at Silk — Oct. 12-13
This weekend is a “can’t miss” event as there will be complimentary entry for everyone, all night, all weekend at Silk on Oct. 12-13. DJ Loczi with KiDJay spin on Friday, with a DJ showcase on Saturday.
Surprise gifts await the first 500 people in the door before 10 p.m., and prize give-a-ways will happen every hour.
J.Cole hits the Silk stage — Oct. 19
J. Cole was the first artist signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label. Following three best-selling mixtapes, Cole released his debut album titled “Cole World: The Sideline Story” last year, containing the platinum single “Work Out” and the currently charted “Nobody’s Perfect” (with Missy Elliott).
Tickets to see the R&B superstar go on sale at 3 p.m. on Sept. 25. Admission starts at $20. There will be no guest list or VIP passes accepted for this special event. Tickets can be purchased at the Pechanga Box Office or by calling 877-711-2946 from noon until 8 p.m. daily, or at pechanga.com.
Halloween at Silk – Sat. Oct. 27
Once again, Silk is expected to go all out for Halloween on Saturday, Oct. 27, with free admission to anyone wearing a costume. Non-costumed guests will be $10 at the door. There will be no guest list for this special event. A costume contest will have $1,500 in prizes given away.
DJ Eric Forbes with Mike Carbonell will headline the extravaganza. Expect free raffles and giveaways throughout the night.
A costume contest will be held for girls and guys separately, with first place taking home $500 in dining anywhere at Pechanga and second place receiving $250.
All costumes must be appropriate and not offensive or overly revealing. In addition, no masks or heavy face paint (which would dramatically alter features), and no real or simulated weapons are permitted.
