Rancho Mirage: Two people seriously injured in car crash

Two people were taken to a hospital with moderate injuries today after a two-vehicle crash in Rancho Mirage, a county fire department spokeswoman said.

The crash at Frank Sinatra and Morningside drives was reported about 7 a.m. One person was cut out of a vehicle, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson said.

The cause crash was under investigation.
