Cal Fire Investigators are seeking the public’s help in identifying an adult male who was observed starting a fire shortly after 6 a.m. on July 18 in the paint department of Lowe’s home improvement store, located at 6413 Pat’s Ranch Road in Jurupa Valley.
The suspect, a white male, entered the store, put several items in a shopping cart, lit a fire in the paint department and then attempted to flee the store with the items in the shopping cart.
A store cashier attempted to stop the suspect who then fled the store on a bicycle.
Anyone with information on the suspect pictured above is urged to call the Arson Hotline at 800-633-2836.
