San Jacinto: Duo arrested in connection with recent string of burglaries

Reports of two suspicious men walking in San Jacinto near Idyllwild Drive and Penny Lane on Monday Sept. 24 just before 6 a.m., resulted in the arrest of the two burglary suspects, officials reported.

Deputies discovered numerous stolen items in the possession of San Jacinto residents Jose Guiterrez, 20 and Eduardo Carreon, 19.

The items found were linked to several recent vehicle and residential robberies in the area, Sgt. David Haar said.

Both men were arrested and booked into the Smith Correctional Facility for possession of stolen property and several counts of burglary.

Anyone with further information regarding this ongoing investigation is urged to contact the San Jacinto Police Department at 951-654-2702.
