Beaumont Fire Department to host spaghetti supper

The Beaumont Fire Department will open its doors to the public and host a spaghetti dinner from 5 – 8 p.m on Oct. 11, it was recently announced.

The open house will take place at Station 1, located at 628 Maple Avenue.

Community members are encouraged to come out and meet the firemen, tour the station and see various fire fighting equipment up close. There will also be games, a 50/50 drawing and a jumper for the children.

The spaghetti dinner will be prepared by the station’s firefighters and will include spaghetti, salad, bread, drinks, and dessert. Proceeds from the sale of dinner tickets will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).

Tickets for the event are available for purchase at the Beaumont Civic Center, Albert A. Chatigny Community Recreation Center, Beaumont Police Department and Fire Station 1.

Tickets are $5 each.
