San Jacinto police investigators, looking into allegations of the sexual abuse of two children, arrested a local man today, it was reported.

According to a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department report, Alejandro Prebot, 26, was taken into custody in connection with the abuse of minors, ages five and ten.
The abuse took place over a four-year period, from 2008 to Aug. 2012, officials said.
“Prebot was an acquaintance of the victims’ family and had regular, unsupervised access to the children. He was charged with several sexual-abuse-related charges including the aggravated sexual assault of the two children,” the report said.
Prebot is currently being held at the Larry Smith Correctional Facility in Banning with a bail amount of $1,000,000, officials said.
