A man was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Monday Sept. 24 at 11:30 a.m. in the 25000 block of Hotei Lane in Pine Cove near Idyllwild, it was reported.
When officers arrived they discovered Christopher Clark, 69, deceased.
Investigators conducting interviews at the scene arrested the dead man’s son, 24-year-old Benjamin Egan on drug-related arrest warrants.
Egan was booked into the Larry Smith Correctional Facility in Banning, Sgt. W. Clear stated.
