Two people were killed this afternoon when a motorcycle and a truck collided in Sky Valley, a county fire department spokeswoman said.
Three other people suffered minor injuries in the crash, which was reported about 3:40 p.m. at Dillon and Hot Springs roads, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann said.
California Highway Patrol Officer Donovan Rice said the motorcycle may have crashed into the back of the truck, which was likely a pickup.
He was unsure of the genders of the victims, whose names were not immediately released.
The California Highway Patrol was investigating the collision.
