A Lake Elsinore man suspected of being high on heroin and methamphetamine remains behind bars today for allegedly taking property
from a parked vehicle inside a garage, according to a Riverside County sheriff’s sergeant.
Davis Flournoy, 20, had a no-bail warrant for a probation violation, Sgt. Dave Baca said. He was booked Friday for suspicion of first degree
residential burglary, receiving stolen property and two drug-related counts, jail records read.
Flournoy was allegedly caught Friday rummaging through a vehicle and fleeing with property. He was spotted by a teen-aged girl who lived at the home in the 35800 block of Abelia Street, Baca said.
A witness told deputies that a suspicious-looking man was seen walking on Abelia Street toward Horsetail Street. The suspect was detained long enough for the victim to identify Flournoy as the burglary suspect, said Baca.
Stolen items were spotted strewn on several front lawns, Baca said.
