Palm Springs VillageFest, the city’s weekly street festival, will start its fall hours on Thursday.
The festival, which is held every Thursday night on Palm Canyon Drive between Baristo and Amado roads, will start at 6 p.m. instead of 7 p.m.
The event ends at 10 p.m. year-round, city spokeswoman Amy Blaisdell said.
On Oct. 25, the annual Halloween Spook-tacular will be held at VillageFest. The event includes live entertainment, trick-or-treating, a pumpkin patch and a costume contest for children, Blaisdell said.
VillageFest, which has been held for 22 years, has more than 200 booths with art, crafts and food. Shops, boutiques, galleries and restaurants stay open late during VillageFest.
