Riverside County Fire Department crews made quick work of a structure fire that broke out at 5:47 p.m. today in the 324000 block of Cottonwood Canyon Rd., in Wildomar.

According to fire officials, an unattached garage and a vehicle inside were damaged by a blaze that spread to nearby area of surrounding brush.
The vegetation fire was contained to a half acre, officials said.
The residential structure remained intact.
There were no reports of any injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
