You’ve dreamed of opening your own business for years, but didn’t know how or where to get started.
Here is a good starting point: An economic forum, hosted by Mt. San Jacinto College Economics Dept., will feature W. Denis Nurmela, author of “The Saturday Morning CEO.”
Nurmela will offer five secrets to successfully starting your own business in a seminar planned for 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 9 in room 927 at the Menifee Valley Campus.
Nurmela is a writer, motivational speaker and corporate trainer who holds bachelor and master degrees in leadership and organizational studies, and is a doctoral candidate in business administration with an emphasis in entrepreneurship.
He is also a part-time college professor, teaching healthcare management bachelor degree students.
The event is free and open to the public.
The Mt. San Jacinto College Menifee campus is located at 28237 La Piedra Rd. in Menifee.
