Beaumont: Woman shot, police mum on details

A woman shot in Beaumont remained hospitalized today, but police were tight-lipped about the case.

Officers responded Wednesday to an 8:30 a.m. call by firefighters of a shooting in the 200 block of East 12th Street, according to a Beaumont Police Department statement.

Police did not provide any details about the shooting or release the name of the woman, who was listed in stable condition at an undisclosed hospital.
