Four men have been arrested in connection with an alleged chop shop operation in Perris, it was reported today.
Perris residents Shawn Hughes, 20, Richard Moore, 40, and Carlos Martin, 22, and Menifee resident Glenn Eastman, 34, were all taken into custody Thursday.
According to a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department report, the Perris Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team served a narcotics-related search warrant Thursday, Oct. 4 at a residence in the 1000 block of Emerald Dr., in Perris.
“During a search of the residence deputies seized methamphetamine, narcotics-related paraphernalia and a vehicle reported stolen out of the city of Perris,” the report said.
The discovery led investigators to a second residence located in the 500 block of Playa De Corte Street in Perris where stolen vehicle parts were found as evidence of a possible chop shop, officials said.
