Law enforcement officials arrested a man they say was armed with a loaded semi-automatic firearm and a bag of methamphetamine, it was reported today.
According to a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department report, Riverside resident Yarbi Romero, 41, was taken into custody at around 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 4 in the 6100 block of Camino Real, in Jurupa Valley.
Romero was believed to be under the influence of a controlled substance as the time of his arrest, officials said.
He is currently being held on $15,000 bond at Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility, according to jail records.
