Temecula: Man faces charges in I-15 drug trafficking bust

A Mexican stopped on Interstate 15 near Temecula with nearly 23 pound of methamphetamine in his SUV was facing possible drug trafficking charges today.

A northbound Chevrolet Blazer was stopped and searched about 2:45 p.m. Monday, according to Border Patrol agents.

Federal agents declined to name the man but said he was a 39-year-old Mexican citizen.
