According to one of the drivers, 39-year-old Temecula resident Alejandra Ramsey was driving her GMC Envoy southbound on Margarita Road with her 6 and 9 -year-old children when a red Hyundai pulled in front of her.

“I thought about swerving to avoid hitting him, but, I remember learning that it’s worse to overcorrect, so I hit the brakes and hoped he would accelerate,”Ramsey said.

The man didn’t speed up and she crashed into the back of his car.

“Nobody was injured, but it was scary,” she added.

The driver of the Hyundai who asked to remain anonymous told SWRNN that he has driven this route many times and is a very careful driver.

“I do shopping for a friend who is handicapped and was on my way to help him out,” the man said. “I looked both ways before pulling onto Margarita and there were no cars.”

He added as soon as he turned onto Margarita, the GMC appeared out of nowhere and slammed into him.

No injuries were reported.
