Deputies from the Jurupa Valley Special Enforcement Team discovered a man sitting in a parked car on Saturday Oct. 6 at 9:30 p.m. in the 5800 block of Patty Street in Jurupa Valley.
After talking with the man they learned he is a convicted sexual assault felon who failed to register, authorities reported.

David McCrary, 46 was arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on charges of failing to register as a sexual registrant, Sgt. Andrew Elia said.
