Felon arrested after meth found during probation search in Jurupa Valley

A 29-year-old Jurupa Valley felon is behind bars after deputies conducted a probation search at his residence on Sat. Oct. 6 at 8:30 p.m., in the 8100 block of Whitney Drive, law enforcement officials reported.

Officers found bags of crystal meth and drug paraphernalia during the search of Edward Navarro’s home.

He was arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on charges of possession of a controlled substance, being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation, Sgt. Andrew Elia said.

    According to Riverside Sheriff file # JV122650114 & JV122650122 he was arrested on September 21 “Edward Navarro, a 29 year old resident of Jurupa Valley, for possession of a controlled substance and violation of probation. ”

    Why was he released the first time???
