A man on probation was arrested after he strong-armed another man, taking his bike just after 6 a.m. on Tuesday Oct. 9 , sheriff’s deputies reported.
The victim was in a parking lot at a business in the 600 block of South San Jacinto when 21-year-old Rocky Miller snatched the bike and fled the scene, officials said.
When officers located and approached Miller, he took off running. After a short foot pursuit, Miller was apprehended and placed under arrest.
Miller was booked into the Larry Smith Correctional Facility on charges of robbery, violation of probation and resisting arrest, Sgt. David Haar stated in a sheriff’s report.
Anyone with further details regarding this crime is urged to contact the San Jacinto Police Department at 951-654-2702.
The Police Department encourages citizens and business owners to report any criminal activity, Sgt. Haar added.
