Crash on 91 Freeway claims life of pedestrian

A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle on the Riverside (91) Freeway in Corona today.

The accident in eastbound lanes just west of Main Street was reported at 2:39 a.m., a California Highway Patrol dispatcher said.

The Main Street offramp was closed, and eastbound traffic was being taken off the freeway at Lincoln Avenue, according to the CHP.
