Thirteen honorees have been selected for awards.
According to District Superintendent Dr. Doug Kimberly: “This year’s honorees exemplify a lifelong journey that includes discovery of one’s self, a desire to serve others, and a commitment to lead.”
Now it its fourth year, the philosophy of the Heroes in Education program is servant leadership.
“True heroes in education continually strive to be trustworthy, self-aware, humble, caring, visionary, empowering, relational, competent, good stewards, and community builders,” said Dr. Kimberly. “On behalf of the Governing Board, we extend warm congratulations to our honorees.”
