A woman was roughed up and had her purse grabbed from her while walking in a parking lot in the 1500 block of San Jacinto Avenue on Sunday Oct. 14 just before 9 p.m., it was reported.

After the suspect snatched the victim’s purse, he ran northbound towards Esplanade Avenue.
The suspect is descried as a Hispanic adult male, 5 feet 9 inches tall with a thin build and a mustache. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue shorts, Sgt. Rose McKinney stated in a sheriff’s press release.
