Firefighters quickly extinguish attic fire in Moreno Valley

A fire damaged the attic of a house in Moreno Valley today, but no injuries were reported.

The blaze, which broke out about 9:10 a.m. in the 13300 block of Patricia Street, took 25 minutes to contain.

Firefighters narrowed down the source to an interior exhaust fan, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann said.
