Pedestrian killed on 91 Freeway identified

Authorities today identified a pedestrian who was fatally struck by several vehicles on the 91 Freeway in Corona.

The accident in eastbound lanes just west of Main Street was reported at 2:39 a.m. Saturday, according to the California Highway Patrol.

John Green, 28, of Corona died at the scene, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Bureau. The circumstances of the death were under investigation.
