A Desert Hot Springs man died from injuries sustained when he lost control of his SUV and was thrown from the vehicle, coroner’s officials said today.
Cory Baker, 32, died at Desert Regional Medical Center about 9 p.m. Thursday, less than an hour after the crash on northbound Little Morongo Road
north of Dillon Road in Desert Hot Springs, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
Baker lost control of the SUV “for unknown reasons,” spun out, left the road and rolled over.
Baker was ejected from the vehicle, according to the coroner’s office.
