White House announces Obama to appear on Jay Leno

President Barack Obama will make a brief visit to the the Southland Wednesday, when he will appear on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” the White House announced today.

Obama will first campaign in Davenport, Iowa, and Denver, Co., Wednesday before he lands at Los Angeles International Airport in the afternoon.

After taping “The Tonight Show,” the president will fly to Las Vegas for another campaign event, leaving Nevada at 11:35 p.m., a White House
statement said.
