A local wine country tour company has festooned their limo-bus with Halloween decor and is scheduled to make at trip to the Haunted Hotel located in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter on Saturday Oct. 27.
The bus which holds up to 20 guests features a large television, state of the art sound system, custom leather couches and a stripper pole.
“We went all out with scary decorations and made the inside of the bus look and feel as spooky as possible,” Uncorked Tours CEO Megan Franks explained.
The company which has operated the hot air balloon company, ‘Sunrise Balloons’ in Temecula’s wine country for more than three decades launched the tour company two-years ago when hot air balloon guests repeatedly asked for suggestions regarding where to go and what to do in wine country.
The tour bus is scheduled to depart Temecula at 6 p.m. and return at 1 a.m.
“All tickets for the Halloween tour are VIP and include champagne, wine, water, hors d’oeuvres and chocolate,” Franks explained.
Franks added that guests’ tickets will allow them to hop to the front of the line at the popular Haunted Hotel in downtown San Diego.
“It’s similar to a Disneyland Fast-Pass, allowing ticket holders to bypass the long line,” Franks added. “Our guests will not have to wait more than 20 minutes to enter the Haunted Hotel.”
In years past, the line to get into the Haunted Hotel has exceeded two hours.
A host and professional photographer are scheduled to be on the bus to capture the events as they unfold.
Franks said the professional photos are a favorite among patrons and add a special element to the experience.
“Everyone loves a fun memory to put in their photo album,” Franks said.
Tickets are limited and can be purchased at the company’s website,www.uncorkedtemecula.com.
