Forecasters also issued a fire weather watch for the same period, saying the strong winds would be accompanied by low humidity levels of around 8 to 13 percent.

During the advisory period, residents can expect sustained winds of 25 to 35 miles per hour, with gusts of 50 to 60 mph.

“The winds will make driving difficult, especially for motorists with high profile vehicles,” according to a NWS advisory. “Watch for broken tree
limbs and power lines.”
