Costumed people and dogs are invited to come to ‘Dogtoberfest’ on Saturday Oct. 27 at Skip Fordyce’s Harley-Davidson bike shop in Riverside from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
The dog friendly event benefits the Riverside Department of Animal Services, department spokesperson John C. Welsh said.
The event will include a pet costume contest with special judge Dan Bernstein, demonstrations by the Riverside Police Department’s K-9 unit and the Riverside County Fire Department, pet adoptions, pet vaccinations, micro-chipping and plenty of vendors.
There will also be a hot dog and chili BBQ for guests to nosh on.
T-Shirts designed by Death Row Dogz founder Jennifer Dabney will be available and are designed to have a “Sons of Anarchy” look in honor of the hit program.
Skip Fodyce Harley-Davidson is located at 7668 Indiana Avenue in the heart of Riverside’s auto row.
