Moreno Valley: Two people left homeless after mobile home fire

Flames tore through a single-wide mobile home today in Moreno Valley, and two people were left homeless.

Firefighters rushed to the Sky Trails Mobile Home Park in the 14800 block of Perris Boulevard, where they contained the 8:33 a.m. fire to the rear of one unit, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann said.

The flames caused an estimated $10,000 in damage, Hagemann said.

No one was hurt during the fire, whose origin was determined to be electrical in nature, she said.

Firefighters were expected to remain at the scene for more than two hours, Hagemann said at midmorning.
