Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a woman suspected of stabbing a man in the leg today in Moreno Valley, a deputy said.

The unidentified victim, 22, was taken to a hospital for treatment, but the extent of his injuries was not immediately known, said Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputy Joshua Morales.
Deputies rushed to 22895 Bay St. after receiving a 9:05 a.m. call about a woman who allegedly attacked the man with a knife, according to a sheriff’s radio alert.
Sheriff’s authorities were still “working the scene” at midmorning, Morales said, as the woman remained at large.
She is described as a black and in her 20s, Morales said.
