In partnership with the Sun City Civic Association, and thanks to a donation by the Home Depot Foundation, Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley will be hosting a neighborhood revitalization project for veteran homeowners on Saturday, Nov.10 in Sun City.
Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley’s “A Brush with Kindness” is a locally-operated program serving low-income homeowners who struggle to maintain the exterior of their homes.
The program is a holistic approach to providing affordable housing and assisting communities as well as families.
The non-profit organization is now accepting applications from veteran homeowners in need of painting, minor exterior repairs, landscaping, weatherization and exterior clean-up.
Veteran homeowners interested in receiving help through “A Brush with Kindness” should contact Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley at 951-296-3362.
