A robber punched a man in the face today at a Burger King in Perris and grabbed $20 from him before running off, according to sheriff’s radio alert.
Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies received a 911 call at 3:11 p.m. about the armed robbery, which unfolded at the Perris Plaza where the fast-food restaurant is located.
The plaza is located at 1688 Perris Blvd.
The victim requested medical attention as he was bleeding from the mouth, the alert reported.
The suspect was described as a heavy set black man in his mid-20s, who stood 6-feet-4 tall. The suspect wore a grey sweat shirt and dark pants, it was reported.
