The free event will take place at the Beaumont Sports Park, located at Brookside and Beaumont avenues.
Trunk-or-treating is the latest twist on the tradition of door-to-door candy-collecting. Instead of collecting candy from the neighborhood, children collect candy from the trunks of vehicles parked safely in a parking lot.
This new trend has become a safe alternative for parents who wish to keep a watchful eye on their children. This event turns the backs of mini-vans and SUVs, bed of a truck or car trunk into the new front porch.
