‘Silver and Gold’ classics to sparkle on Temecula stage

Residents are invited to immerse themselves in the delicate strains of classical music at the California Chamber Orchestra’s upcoming performance of “Silver and Gold.”

Presented by Temecula Presents, the show will feature the talents of Temecula flutist Kate Prestia-Schaub who will perform one of Antonio Vivaldi’s “Piccolo Concertos” and one of J. S. Bach’s “Brandenburg Concertos.”

Concert-goers will be treated to sparkling sounds of “silver and gold” from the Baroque era of music.

Musical selections include: Sinfonia for Strings by Vivaldi, Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 (Bach), Piccolo Concerto in A Minor by Vivaldi (Kate Prestia-Schaub, Piccolo) and Haydn’s Symphony No. 85 “The Queen.”

The performance is planned for 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 3 at Old Town Temecula Community Theater, located at 42051 Main Street, Temecula.
