Actor Edward Furlong, who starred in “Terminator 2,” was arrested today at Los Angeles International Airport on suspicion of domestic violence following an argument with his girlfriend, according to authorities and a celebrity news website.
Furlong, 35, was taken into custody about 12:40 a.m. after Los Angeles Airport Police officers “responded to a call regarding a possible domestic violence investigation at Terminal 2 on the arrivals level,” airport police Sgt. Belinda Nettles said in a statement.
Furlong was booked on suspicion of domestic violence and transported to the Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Street Station jail facility, Nettles said.
Bail was set at $50,000, according to the sheriff’s department.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ.com that Furlong was with his girlfriend at LAX, where he grabbed her arm during an argument, leaving marks.
