A suspected “peeping tom” allegedly watching activity inside an Eastvale home with binoculars was arrested today.

Jay Lawrence Garner, 45, was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor peeping in the 6700 block of Alpine Street, near Desert Springs Street, around 7 a.m.
A resident spotted Garner shortly before dawn “using binoculars to look inside his neighbor’s residence,” Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Sam Flores said.
Deputies arrived a short time later and arrested Garner without incident after learning that “he had been seen in the area on several other occasions committing the same offense,” Flores said.
Garner was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside, but was released within a few hours after posting $2,500 bail.
