A motorcyclist suffered major injuries in a crash that occurred at about 4:20 p.m. on Friday on Kalmia Ave. and Hubbard St. in Moreno Valley, it was reported.
According to a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department report, the 42-year-old motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Kalmia Ave. on his Kawasaki KLR motorcycle at a high rate of speed when he lost control and crashed into a parked motorhome in the driveway of a local neighborhood.
“Moreno Valley Fire Department and AMR Paramedics responded and treated the male subject who had suffered serious injuries,” the report said.
The man was transported to the Riverside County Regional Medical Center in serious condition.
Members of the Moreno Valley Police Department’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team responded to the scene, officials said.
The cul-de-sac remained closed for several hours until the investigation was complete.
