Pechanga to honor veterans with free buffet on Nov. 12

Pechanga is offering all active and veteran members of the U.S. Armed Forces a free meal at its popular Buffet on Monday, Nov. 12, it was recently announced.

To honor their sacrifice to the nation, Pechanga welcomes veterans to its Buffet between 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

“Veterans Day is one of our favorite times of year around here,” said Pechanga Development Corporation President Joaquin Fletcher in a released statement. “Some of these brave soldiers only get to visit us once a year and our team members just love thanking them for everything they have done to protect our great nation.”

Since Veterans Day 2009, when the tradition began, Pechanga has served 5,738 free buffets to veterans and active duty military members.

Valid Veteran and Active Duty Identification accepted will include:

• Military identification card

• Veteran’s identification card

• Veteran’s organization card such as VFW, American Legion

• Discharge papers, dd214 or other veterans ID

Cost for non-military guests:

Lunch: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. –  No card $16.99, Silver $13.99, Gold $10.99, Platinum $7.99, Red $4.99

Dinner:  4 p.m. to 10 p.m.  –   No card $21.99, Silver $18.99, Gold $15.99, Platinum $12.99, Red $9.99

Signing up for a Silver card at a Rewards Club booth is free.  Additionally, guests are asked to respect the normal resort dress code of appropriate wear.
