The Temecula Golden Bruins topped off an undefeated season with a league championship win on Saturday, Oct. 27 in Escondido.
The Pop Warner champs dismantled the Carlsbad Lancers 39-16 at Orange Glen High School in a game that saw five scoring drives resulting in touchdowns by Trevor McNabb, Cole Condin, Hayden Glynn, Zach Arnold and Danny Morales.
It is the first Palomar Conference Championship for Temecula Pop Warner in over 10 years.
Led by head coach Mike Barney, the Pee Wee division-team will next face Helix Pop Warner in the Wescon Regional Championship on Saturday, Nov. 3 at Mt. Carmel High School in San Diego.
A win on Saturday will launch the team on to two more conference games that could land the team in Florida for the national championship.

Great coaching
Correction to your article. The 2007 TVPW Golden Bruins were also D1 Palomar Conference champions. They were undefeated and unscored on during league play.
