Man who killed two in violent Temecula car accident arrested

The man accused of careening down a Temecula roadway, killing two innocent people is behind bars after being released from Loma Linda Medical Center, it was reported today.

Christopher Bostic, of Temecula was arrested at the hospital for two counts of felony vehicular manslaughter and one count of felony hit and run causing injuries in the Oct. 20 accident.

Bostic was booked into the Riverside County Medical Center jail ward, Sgt. Joe Magnan stated in a sheriff’s report.

“He sustained major injuries in the collision,” Cpl. Angel Ramos said.

Yorba Linda residents Cheryl Jain, 66 and her husband 74-year-old Amar Jain were making a left turn onto Rancho California Road from Jefferson Avenue when Bostic barreled through a red light, hitting them.

The couple succumbed to their injuries at the scene.

This investigation is still ongoing and alcohol and/or drugs do not appear to have been a factor in this collision, Sgt. Magnan said.
