A woman was killed and three children injured in a rollover crash today near Thousand Palms.

The crash — reported about 9:20 a.m. — happened at Thousand Palms Canyon and Ramon roads.
A GMC Yukon driven by the woman flipped onto its roof, according to the Riverside County Fire Department and the California Highway Patrol.
The three children in the vehicle suffered minor injuries and were transported to a hospital, county fire department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann said.
Thousand Palms Canyon Road was closed between Dillon and Ramon roads, CHP Officer Donovan Rice said.
