Sunshine and mild temperatures greeted the thousands of residents who lined up to watch the 10th annual Murrieta Veterans Day Parade.
The parade kicked off at 1 p.m. at the intersection of Ivy and Washington Streets before eventually ending at Town Square Park in Murrieta.
Over 60 entries from local schools, groups, businesses and public safety agencies took part in the event.
About 20 minutes into the parade, a C17 Globemaster cargo plane from March Air Reserve Base flew over the event, drawing the eye of parade spectators and participants alike.
