Temecula Pizza Hut robbed at gunpoint

A man whipped out a gun and took money out of a cash register at the Pizza Hut Restaurant in the 29700 block of Rancho California Road in Temecula on Monday Nov. 12 just after noon, it was reported.

According to the employee, a lone suspect walked into the pizza parlor and requested change for a dollar. When the employee opened the cash drawer, the man pulled out a handgun and went behind the counter and grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash out of the register.

The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot, according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s press release.

The armed robber is described as a white male, 28-30-years-old, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, thin build, reddish-orange hair. He was wearing sunglasses and dark clothing.
