More than 75,000 people are expected to descend upon Pechanga Resort & Casino on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day 2013, for what is certain to be the largest Disco party held anywhere.

Plans are underway for a property-wide Disco-themed experience, with five separate Disco parties for revelers to attend and headlined by The Pointer Sisters at 8 p.m. in the Showroom Theater. Tickets start at $55.
The Pointer Sisters are one of the most recognizable disco R&B bands of the 70’s and 80’s with a catalog of hits including “I’m So Excited,” “He’s So Shy,” “Fire,” “Automatic,” “Slow Hand,” “Jump (for My Love),” and “Neutron Dance.” The Sisters made twenty-seven trips to the Billboard Hot 100 and seven to the top ten singles chart.
Additional celebrations include Silk’s Disco party at 9 p.m. at $50 per person, the Eagles’ Nest at 8 p.m. for $35 per person and the Cabaret, beginning at 9 p.m. for $25 per person with two drink minimum.
Tickets for those events will be sold at the door.
Free Disco parties will be held at Kelsey’s and, of course, the world-renowned Round Bar will be partying until the balloons drop at midnight and beyond. All these parties are 21 and over. The Pointer Sisters are for all ages, but minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The Kelsey’s party will see normal food service until 11 p.m. and drinks until the party ends at 2 a.m.
The Round Bar, which will have a DJ and go-go dancers all night, normally attracts several thousand spectators each year for the big countdown. As the central congregating point to welcome in 2013, the epic party comes to a climax, as can be witnessed by watching last year’s epic countdown here.
Pechanga’s New Year’s Eve event each year is the biggest party under one roof and is expected to once again bring in nearly one quarter the total number of visitors expected in the entire city of Las Vegas over the same holiday period of NYE and New Year’s Day.
